The two-year full time Post Graduate Diploma in
Retailing and Merchandising Management (PGDRMM) has its alumni placed
in almost all of the leading Retail Formats in India. The programme,
which was initially a one year programme, was launched in 2002 with
the batch strength of 33 students. Keeping in mind the future requirements
of the retail industry as a whole and its growth, BIMTECH has launched
the two-year full time retail programme in 2006. It has strength of
60 students.
The
course is divided across six trimesters and two projects, one in the
summer at the completion of the 1st year and the second towards the
end of the final year of the programme. The summer internship is organized
between 1st and 2nd year of the programme to give a practical overview
on the concepts of retail; it will also provide the opportunity to
sharpen the skills to tackle the challenges of the business.
Once
a student successfully completes the programme, he or she will be
awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Retailing and Merchandising Management
(PGDRMM), which has the approval of the All India Council for Technical
Education (AICTE), Government of India.

Objectives
The
institute strives to create a new generation of smart retail professionals
of international caliber and aims at equipping them with managerial
skills and capabilities required in organized retail industry. The
